Posted on slideshare this past week was a presentation by George Siemens on MOOCs – a review of where we have been and where we are going with this technology.  Canadians are super users of MOOCs and super contributors as well.  The slides provide an opportunity to reflect back on the original purpose and intent of this technology as well as examining our current phase of disruption in education and potential impact.

Global EdMedia Conference in Montreal: June 22-24 2015

Something to watch in the coming weeks the EdMedia World Conference on Educational Media and Technology which is an international conference, organized by the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education (AACE). This annual conference serves as a multi-disciplinary forum for the discussion and exchange of information on the research, development, and applications on all topics related to multimedia, hypermedia and telecommunications/distance education.
